Cindy
Founder, Go World
When Cindy’s youngest daughter mentioned hosting an exchange student to fill the quiet after her sister left for college, Cindy brushed it off… juggling her escrow business and family life felt like enough. But when a letter about hosting landed on her desk, something clicked. Soon, they welcomed a boy from Serbia and a girl from Germany into their home. That experience changed everything.
Over the past 12+ years, Cindy has connected with thousands of students, families, coordinators, and global partners. She’s traveled the world and seen firsthand the impact of cultural exchange. Driven by a passion to help students explore new cultures and form lasting connections, she founded Go World to make those life-changing moments possible for others.

Sarah
Operations Manager, Go World
Sarah joined Go World in 2023 as the Operations Manager, but she has been involved in cultural exchange since 2010. Sarah was first exposed to cultural exchange as an exchange student in Japan during her junior year of college. Sarah and her family lived in Australia for four years. When they returned to California in 2010, she was looking for something she could do from home while raising her three children and came across an opportunity to be a coordinator. Since that time she has hosted three year long students and dozens of short term participants. Her children have grown up with international guests and her family loves the opportunities they have had to travel and make new friends from around the world! Sarah is passionate about making connections in her community and sharing the cultural exchange experience!
