Responsibilities
As a Go World Coordinator, you’ll lead short-term cultural exchange programs that make a lifelong impact on students and host families. You’ll be the heart of the experience ensuring that participants feel supported, engaged, and inspired by their time in the U.S.

You’ll be responsible for recruiting and screening 10–24 host families pending program requirements. We’ll provide tools and guidance to help you find welcoming, safe, and enthusiastic families in your community. Once matched, you’ll stay in touch and ensure they feel confident and supported throughout the hosting experience.

As a Go World Coordinator, you're the go-to person for international students while they're in the U.S. You’ll check in regularly, help troubleshoot any challenges, and make sure participants feel safe, included, and excited to be part of your community.

You’ll design and manage a calendar of enriching local activities like ESL classes, volunteer projects, and cultural outings. These moments help participants connect more deeply with their host city and each other. Each program varies.

Item descriptionFrom amusement parks and city tours to sporting events and local landmarks, you’ll help plan and lead outings that make the program unforgettable. Think of yourself as the bridge between cultures guiding students through new experiences with curiosity and care.

You’ll help organize smooth airport arrivals and departures, including coordinating pick-ups and drop-offs. You’ll be in communication with both families and students to make sure everyone feels prepared and at ease during travel transitions.
